- Established private practice in 1994.
- Family Counseling Center, Fairfax, Virginia, Director of the Eating Disorders Program (1987-1994). Created the program, developed the curriculum for its psycho-educational groups, selected guest speakers, presented workshops, provided individual and group therapy for adolescents and adults with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.
- Children’s National Medical Center, Washington, DC (1984-1987), Clinical Social Worker. Provided crisis intervention to the ER when a child presented with suspicion of abuse or neglect. Part of a multi-disciplinary team providing psychotherapy to abused/neglected children and their families.
